Marquita started her community advocacy as a single mother while working as a Home Health Care Aid and CNA for Addus HealthCare for over 15 years. Her home healthcare experience helped her notice the need for affordable housing and stability. Marquita began to take on more in-home clients and realized the dire living conditions people were living in. This ignited her passion for education and creating awareness for family stability. Marquita’s current position as Managing Member of MW Apartments, LLC, helps her continue educating and creating opportunities for young families in Real Estate. Marquita still cares for families as a Home Healthcare Aid for specific clients. She is also the Leasing Manager for the Property Management Arm of MW Apartments. In this position she oversees the Tenant Satisfaction, Screening, move in and out maintenance, handling property finances, and achieving measurable improvements in budgeting adherence and cost efficiency. Marquita’s experience as a Home Healthcare Aid and Leasing Manger at MW Apartments LLC will allow the company to market and find qualified tenants and maintain the positive compassion and keep an acceptable vacancy rate. When Marquita is not submerged in community outreach or Leasing and Managing Real Estate, she loves traveling and spending time with family.

Nate started his Real Estate Career as a Licensed Real Estate Agent in California driven by advocacy and the power of home ownership. He held his license in good standing while serving in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine force. While enlisted, he helped Officers and Enlisted personnel purchase and sale Real Estate while stationed on base in Washington State. He went from a Real Estate Agent to a Real Estate Broker in the city of Chicago. After working the sales side of the transaction for more than 10 years he became a Paralegal receiving a certification in Real Estate Transactions, Corporate Law and Litigation from Loyola University Chicago. He continued working as a Real Estate Paralegal for several law firms for 5 years, he moved on to the Title Insurance side of the transaction after conducting thousands of title searches and building title commitments for law firms and title companies. Nate moved on to work in the title industry as a Closer, Coordinator, Title Officer and a Post-Closing specialist for several top title companies in Chicago, including Chicago Title Insurance for more than 7 years. Before incorporating MW Apartments, Nate held the Branch Manager position at Home Light Title Inc. In this position Nate oversaw the entire day-to-day operation from Business Operations, Title Clearance and Insurance, Settlement Services, Accounting, Marketing and Post Closing. As Manager and Co-Owners of MW Apartments. LLC, Nate, still holds an active Real Estate Brokers License in Illinois. With these skill sets, he will have the ability to manage and execute the vision and growth of the business from all the collective experiences in Real Estate investing and Title Industries. He believes entrepreneurship could create a way for inner city youth to discover safe and productive careers by reinvesting in the community. When he is not at the office or in the field researching new acquisitions, he loves to travel and educate families who rent about the power of home ownership in Chicago, East Saint Louis and Atlanta.
